Participating in the Erasmus+ program was an eye-opening experience, where young minds from diverse backgrounds united to tackle a pressing global issue: plastic pollution. Through collaborative efforts, we created compelling videos to raise awareness. Witnessing firsthand the passion and creativity of individuals from various cultures reinforced the power of collective action. The program not only fostered a deeper understanding of environmental challenges but also highlighted the importance of international cooperation in addressing them. Participating in the Plastic Matters Youth Exchange was an eye-opening experience. Engaging with peers from diverse backgrounds, we collectively explored the global issue of plastic pollution and brainstormed innovative solutions. Through workshops, discussions, and field trips, I gained a deeper understanding of the environmental impact of plastic and the urgency for sustainable action. This project not only heightened my awareness but also inspired me to advocate for change within my community. The Youth Exchange program in Paralia, Greece, was a truly enlightening journey. Together with peers hailing from Italy, France, Greece, Turkey, Serbia, and Latvia, we delved deep into the urgent issue of plastic pollution. Our discussions spanned from the environmental consequences to the waste management strategies of each nation, stressing the importance of recycling and adhering to the 5 Rs principle. Through collaborative workshops, we worked together to create compelling video and photo content aimed at raising awareness. Additionally, by organizing intercultural nights, we had the opportunity to showcase the beauty of our respective countries, fostering mutual understanding and unity. This exchange experience left a lasting impression, instilling within us a profound sense of responsibility towards our planet and the global community.

Along with colleagues from France, Greece, Italy, Serbia, and Latvia, we investigated the pressing problem of plastic pollution.
